Explore without limits. The Kenai offers those modern comforts on the road that are non-negotiable to some, and for others, total luxuries. This model may be the biggest and full-featured, but as a member of the Scout family, it remains true to its values: minimalist, lightweight, and off-grid capable. Sleeping 4-6, weighing only 1331 lbs, and built for full-sized short and long box trucks, this might be the most practical truck camper ever made.
Energy efficient design, lightweight build, and charged by solar energy. No hook-ups are necessary in nature.
Everything you need to travel down the forest road and beyond. Nothing but the core essentials.
Portable amenities and features that offer more versatility when traveling like being used outdoors and on other adventures.
All-season protection under an aluminum exoskeleton and no-wood composite structural panels that will never rot.
A perfect balance of strength and sustainability, our campers are built of reinforced aluminum framing and rock-solid composite hardwalls. High-density, polyurethane foam fortified with fibreglass gives you 4-season insulation and a lightweight structure that won’t risk your payload capacity. Energy-efficient features and minimalist design keep your travels eco-friendly and simple.
Is it really an adventure if you don’t have dirt on your boots, sand in your shoes, or snow on your jacket? No need to fear the elements, we have features and options that will clean any post-adventure mess. The mud room entrance lets you leave the outside out there and keep your camper neat and tidy, even in the middle of the wilderness.
The Kenai offers more of the comforts that some of us need like a modern cassette toilet, a bigger bed, and more storage options. And just because it has more, doesn’t mean it’s heavy. This model is still amongst the lightest hard-wall campers in the industry today.
At Scout, we create camping solutions that keep things simple because we don’t believe camping has to be complicated. That’s why we’ve designed our campers with portability and flexibility in mind so that you can travel more freely and spontaneously. Fill up and filter water on the go, take portable amenities outside, and charge by the sun anywhere you camp.

A place for all your adventure gear.
The Kenai offers the most storage options of all our models. From an interior wardrobe, open-concept shelving, a gear locker (10 cubic feet of exterior storage), and the option for two hanging storage bags, you and your family will be able to bring everything you need for your next big adventure.
Homey comforts on the road.
The Kenai offers the option for a modern, stow away cassette toilet concealed underneath a hinged shelf in the bathroom area of the camper. The toilet pivots out for use and then locks back into a stowed position to maximize space. This swivel feature means you’ll have all the leg room you need and portable 4.75 gallon waste tank can easily be removed and emptied manually.
The seat, eat, or sleep set-up.
This new multi-functional design feature serves as an open L-shaped style seating area, a dinette, and easily transitions into 2 comfortable beds at night that can sleep 1 adult or 2 children. It’s a flexible space for a flexible lifestyle, and a convenient office on the road too. Work while you bask in the view of outside your window.
“Sure, there are plenty of relatively affordable camper vans out there. But if you're looking to take your midsize pickup truck on an extended adventure, Scout offers a cool solution that sleeps up to four people.”
“Added to things associated with the word Kenai is a new in-bed truck camper that embraces the pioneering spirit and may be well-suited for Alaska's back country.”
"Sometimes, you don’t need a van to experience a bit of #vanlife. In this case, we’re obviously talking about a pickup truck, and more specifically, a truck camper shell. It’s from a company called Scout Campers, and this is its first model. It’s called Olympic, and it caught our eye for being a minimalist camper with impressive space and capability.”
“Going off-roading or overlanding means keeping your gear compact, for safety and ease-of-use. So, towing a separate camper over rocks isn’t really an option. Luckily, there are still ways of having a comfortable sleeping space. For vans and SUVs, there are rooftop tents. For pickup trucks, there are truck bed campers. And Scout Campers’ new Olympic is one that can fit in basically any pickup bed.”
